Hulu on my Xbox 360
No doubt hulu.com bacame the greatest free online video streaming portal. You have your home network, Xbox, nice HDTV. Is it posssible to stream Hulu videos to your plasma? The answer is YES and it is Playon (PlayOn is software you install on your Windows PC. The download is a fully functional trial and is free to use for 14 days, but once it expires, you’ll have to purchase a license to continue using it). Just go ahead and download a free trial for 14 days, you gonna love it!
How it Works
MediaMall’s PlayOn software is a UPnP digital media server and browser that pulls RSS feeds from content providers, and presents them to DLNA-compliant networked media devices. In plain English, this means you can use your game console or networked television to access content from providers like YouTube, Netflix and Hulu. The PC software pulls in the media streams, in the same way as your web browser, and then sends them directly over your home network to your device, even converting their formats on the fly to make sure the devices can play them. Simple as that.
PlayOn leverages the existing browser and UPnP functions of game consoles and networked televisions, and uses the PC in the middle to bring in the content from the Web, passing it over your home network to the device.

You have the second option though, and it’s free.It is a new exiting project called secondrun.tv ! The guys have been working hard on that project and they already have some results, the program is still in early beta and it is not YET fully supported with Xbox as Windows Media Extender, but go there and give it a try! Of course if you like dont forget to donate into the project, cause its worth it! Meanwihile Im waiting for the next update which is supposed to bring a lot of fixes and improvments and also support for media center remote control! Thumbs up!
