The HTC Touch Viva looks pretty much set to be the HTC Touch’s successor, sitting comfortably in the entry-level and mid-range markets without compromising on performance. The display is nothing much to shout about though at QVGA resolution, while you can’t surf faster than EDGE speeds, but you will be aided by the TouchFLO user interface and accompanied by the following specifications :-

256MB ROM
Integrated GPS
2 megapixel camera
Wi-Fi connectivity

Bear in mind the tweaked version of TouchFLO won’t work on 3D acceleration that is available in HTC’s higher-end units. The HTC Touch Viva will be out from next month onwards, and chances are it won’t cause you to break the bank if you want one.
